Comfort and guidance, all at the same time.
That, and I happen to be rather fond of lighthouses
and I though they fit together nicely.
NightLightHouse :: The Journal
This journal is something of a creative personal, yet public, project of mine.
How many of us have notebooks, sketchbooks, stacks of canvas, and countless scraps of paper stashed all over the place, covered in our creative ramblings?
This journal is a dumping ground for this sort of thing, mostly the written word but in some cases art work or even just random thoughts and questions.
I'm posting them here because I want you to see them.
I also would like to hear your thoughts; what the entries make you think or feel.
I'm also using this as a means of growth.
Constructive criticism is encouraged.
Please refrain from bashing what I post here.
If you don't like it, I’d like it if you told me why.
Aside from just escaping and expressing, I’d also like to learn.
Friending the Lighthouse
If you find yourself inspired to friend this journal, I thank you and hope it inspires you in other ways as well.
However, don't be offended if you are not friended back.
Aside from certain feeds, I will only be friending specific individuals who provide creative insight and technical understanding.
Not to mention people I know enough to trust.
The reason for this, I swear, is not me being elitist but rather because from time to time I will post pieces that I may be considering submitting.
I’ll want opinions and feedback for these without them being circulated.
Life at the LightHouse
At this current place in time, I reside in the city of Toronto. I’m a student at the University of Toronto studying Cultural Anthropology and English. Arting out is just something I do because it’s something I know and sometimes it’s the only thing that works. I’m very fond of youth lit and animation – a child at heart for sure. Gemini, in love with the Rockies, a traveler on both a small and grand scale and happiest when the weather is warm. I like when colours are vibrant and people are genuine and let themselves love.
I’ll probably re-write this bio many, many times.
